After winning the New Zealand National Championship in Powerlifting, Lachlan Richards will compete in the 2022 Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship.

Leah Powick, former NZIS student, has been granted two scholarships to attend Concordia Irvine University in the USA. They are a track and field scholarship and an academic scholarship for a four-year degree.
