If you like the idea of flexibility and fitness, owning your own business as a personal trainer or working at top facilities with your own clients then this course will be a great place to start.

Learn all about fitness, health, and dietary requirements, and develop your own custom-made fitness programmes for real clients. You’ll also get to learn about emerging sport technologies in fitness assessments.

It's not just about training your clients to peak physical condition. We also provide a range of specialised workshops including Group Fitness, Sport Strapping, Speed Training, Swiss Ball Training, and Yoga to equip you with the tools you need to enhance your personal training skills. 

 

During this course you will:

  • Manage a client of your own and create a fitness plan and track their progress 

  • Gain an understanding of the human anatomy and physiology 

  • Learn how to work with clients who have specific or special training needs. 

  • Identify No#1 barriers to client success by learning motivation strategies and techniques 

  • The Ethics for training and how to keep your clients safe.  

  • Learn how to run your own gym with basics management skills 

  • How to fuel the body with latest nutrition including industry approved dietary practices  

  • Receive a commercial Gym membership for the duration of the course 

  • Attend induction workshops monthly held between the campus and Jetts Club in Mount Wellington. 

  • Be guaranteed an interview.

  • Show a demonstrated commitment to the Sport, Fitness and Recreation areas.

  • Relevant experience in the Fitness and Recreation Industry is preferred.
