Student camping trips to challenge fitness levels and mental ability

We start off the first week of term by setting the scene at camp!

Students are challenged on their physical fitness, cooking skills, and pushed to the test of endurance and mental ability during their first week of study, during our camp. Students are encouraged and guided on how to work as part of a team, with team-building and problem-solving activities.

It doesn’t stop there! All New Zealand Institute of Sport students are invited to participate in another camp during the academic year. These are special events that further develop the team bonding and self-reliance. 

These camps are held at an Outdoor Education Facility and various outdoor recreation spots. Put on your sport shoes and enter the outdoors with your fellow students, and we’ll set the scene for the year ahead!
