NZIS welcomes back Hurricane Ngani Laumape to study Personal Training

Ngani Laumape, studied with the New Zealand Institute of Sport in 2011 at the Auckland campus and at the same time was a Junior Warrior. After a successful year in both study and rugby, Ngani graduated with a qualification in Sport Studies. He continued to excel in his rugby and in 2013 he was selected to play for the NZ Warriors, who he played for until 2015.  After huge success in Rugby League, in 2016 Ngani switched back to the code which he had always loved so much during his school days, Rugby Union.  Ngani has recently been signed and selected for the Hurricanes where he is a regular starter, and alongside his Rugby Union career, Ngani has chosen to return to the New Zealand Institute of Sport to further his studies in Personal Training at the Wellington Campus.

The CEO John Fiso and the NZIS family wish Ngani every success in both his sporting and education endeavours.
