NZIS Rugby Academy
The New Zealand Institute of Sport sucessfully launched its high performance Rugby Academy in Auckland in 2008 and launches its Wellington Academy in 2010. The Academy is designed to maximize success for NZIS students looking to continue on to the higher levels in Rugby and Education. This may be in senior club Rugby, all provincial age grade teams, Meads and Lachore Cup, Air New Zealand Cup, Super 14 and beyond to the Manu Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, New Zealand Maori, All Black Junior's, Black Ferns and ALL BLACKS.

NZIS Basketball Academy
Basketball is one of the fastest growing sports in New Zealand. The New Zealand Institute of Sport recognises and is looking to provide opportunities for young aspiring athletes to excel with regard to sport performance, but also in terms of education and personal growth.

Our NZIS basketball special teams in the past have been very successful in winning back to back National U23 title's in 2005 and 2006.
NZIS Touch Academy

Touch is one of the fastest growing sports in New Zealand with over 317,000 participants nationwide (Touch NZ). The New Zealand Institute of Sport has recognised this trend and is looking to provide opportunities for young aspiring athletes to excel with not only their sport performance, but also in terms of education and personal growth.

NZIS Volleyball Academy
Volleyball is second only to soccer in sport participation in the world, with over 800 million players worldwide.  The NZIS Academy team is at the pinnacle of high performance volleyball in New Zealand, having placed in the top 4 in the National Championships for 12 years running and having won the National Title in 2007.
