Life At NZIS
Studying at NZIS goes far beyond the classroom. Our students partake in outdoor recreation as part of their orientation and regularly compete in regional and national sporting competitions. NZIS staff are committed to providing high quality unforgettable experiences both inside and outside of the classroom that students will carry through to careers in the Sport, Fitness and Recreation industry.
Sporting Academies
Our NZIS high performance sporting academies for Rugby, Basketball, Touch Rugby, and Volleyball are second to none in providing students with expert training and coaching strategy. With a former Olympian and several National Representatives on staff, Academy students have access to top players and coaches in their respective sporting areas.
Activities
From intercampus sporting competitions to outdoor education camps, NZIS students take part in a variety of activites throughout the academic year such as Orientation Week, Sports Exchange, Camp Week, NZIS Sports Teams.
