NZIS is pleased to now provide a part time Personal Training course for those of you wanting to obtain a relevant fitness industry qualification but cannot commit to full-time study.

The programme uses a blended method of delivery which includes 10 hours of face-to-face teaching per week and 10 hours of self-directed learning (online, gym based curriculum).

Class Hours:

Wellington Campus:
Tuesdays:  5.30pm – 8.30pm
Thursdays: 5.30pm – 8.30pm
Alternate Saturdays: 9.00am – 2.00pm

Auckland & Christchurch Campuses:
Mondays:  5.30pm – 8.30pm
Wednesdays: 5.30pm – 8.30pm
Alternate Saturdays: 9.00am – 2.00pm

– Anatomy and Physiology

– Nutrition

– Program Design

– Exercise Prescription

– Customer Service & Ethics

– Strength & Conditioning

– Fitness Testing

– PT as a business

 

Entry Criteria

Recommended Age: 20 years and older.*

A demonstrated passion for fitness

*Candidates under 20 may still be considered after personal interview
